iPhone need send button

Postby aglimme on Sat Jun 30, 2007 4:16 am

So I just un-boxed my iPhone and meebo works great, except the iPhone dosen't seem to have an enter key to send my messages. I think if there was a send button then every thing would be OK. Thanks!

How did you even get the message window open, I can't really even use meebo on my iPhone. I think it would be really cool is meebo made a just for iphone web interface

i completely agree. meebo is amazing. i opened it on iphone and was real excited...until i couldnt send my message because the so called "return" button insert carriage return unlike the traditional keyboard return.

please please add a send button to the message window and all will be great!

btw, double tapping on name opens conversation window

It will need more than a send button as the screens are not friendly to narrow displays like the iPhone. Yes it is possible to use meebo on the iPhone in its current format, once they get the hint they need a "send" button, but further iPhone specific development would need to be added for a more friendly experience.

Thanks Meebo in advance!

yes, but at the moment, a send button would make lots of people very happy :)

Send button would be great. Could add a show/hide function to the check browser routine(s), toggling the visibility of the button.

People asking for a send button for their iPhone... can you guys try it again? (you might need to clear your browser cache, if possible)

I was having troubles logging in but once that went away the go button worked for me. My main problem now is if i open more than one chat window, they lay on top of each other and have no way to drag them off. if the new windows could come in cascaded already that would help because i could click behind to get to the new/old windows.

I can get logged in, but I still can't open chat windows. and when people message me it doesn't let me type when I click in the text field now either (it was at least letting me type a couple days ago when I first tried it). Anyone have any ideas why this might be?

Crashes before I can try to log in.

Cleared history, cookies, and cache. Maybe it's cause I'm not using WiFi...
